Care + Maintenance Natural Stone

To keep Natural Stone countertops clean, use a microfiber cloth to dust off the surface. A microfiber cleaning cloth, even a dry one, is all that is needed for basic cleaning. For spills or daily cleaning, try to wipe down the granite countertop daily or as needed using hot water

Once a week wipe your granite countertops down with a damp cloth and a stone cleaner formulated with a neutral pH.
Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on your countertops. These types of cleaners can scratch, pit, and etch the surface of the stone permanently.

Below is a product that we highly recommend for Natural stone. This product cleans, polishes and seals your countertops. With this product there is no need to seal every 3-6 months.

Supreme Surfaces All-In-One Stone Care

Care + Maintenance

Quartz

Clean the counter with a microfiber, soap and warm water daily for any dried food or other stains. Use a blunt scraper such as a plastic putty knife to scrape off excess if needed. Follow up by cleaning the counter well with hot water.

Do not expose your quartz surfaces to abrasive! Only use neutral or low pH cleaners. Never use abrasive or harsh scrub pads; instead use soft pads and microfibers. Finally, do not apply any sealants or topical treatments to quartz surfaces, since these types of products will wear off and cause the gloss to appear dull and lose its natural sheen. Be sure to dry countertops off with a towel after you finish cleaning.
